Device not supported

If the app shows “Device not supported”, it could not verify that it is running on a genuine, unmodified phone. This page explains why we check and what you can do.

Why we check

CmtyOne shows drop times, restock alerts and stock data that people try hard to scrape and automate. To keep that data working for real users, the app confirms it is a real copy of our app on a real device before it talks to our servers. Apple calls this App Attest; Google calls it Play Integrity. The check happens once, in the background, and tells us nothing about you personally.

What your device needs

  • iPhone or iPad: iOS 14 or later, on a stock operating system.
  • Android: Android 8.0 or later, with Google Play services, on a stock operating system.
  • The app installed from the App Store or Google Play.
  • A working internet connection when the app first opens.

Common reasons it fails

  • The device is jailbroken or rooted, or runs a custom ROM. The check cannot pass on a modified system, and we cannot make an exception.
  • The app was side-loaded or installed from somewhere other than the official stores.
  • An emulator or a cloud phone. These cannot produce a valid attestation.
  • No Google Play services on Android, which some devices and custom builds ship without.
  • A blocked connection. A VPN, private relay, or strict network filter can stop the check reaching Apple or Google.

What to try

  1. Make sure the phone is online, then fully close and reopen the app.
  2. Turn off any VPN or private relay briefly and open the app again.
  3. Update your operating system, and update the app in the store.
  4. If you installed the app from outside the App Store or Google Play, remove it and install the official version.
  5. Restart the phone. Attestation can fail transiently after an OS update.
